Custom Labels & Stickers on Rolls Printed with Your Designs

When it comes to sticker printing, choosing the correct format is
important. Your custom sticker format should be appropriate to your
material and application requirements.
At PrintRunner, we're asked a lot about our roll stickers and labels.
What makes roll labels different from other formats? What are the
benefits of roll custom labels? This article provides everything you
need to know about roll labels and how to print roll stickers in your
own design.

The Advantage of Roll Stickers and Labels
Unlike cut-to-size, sheets, and kiss-cut sticker formats, roll-printed
stickers and labels are spun around a cardboard spool. This helps with
faster sticker applications because you can use the roll format with a
label dispenser.
So, when should you choose roll stickers and labels?
Bulk printing. If your business uses a lot of stickers
and labels, consider roll printing for less paper waste and more
savings. Rolls are ideal for bulk orders, and the more you order, the
lower the cost per piece.
Production lines. For rapidly scaling businesses, this
helps speed up the process in your assembly line. Roll format is the
best option when you need to apply stickers and labels fast. You can
apply these custom labels by hand or using a dispenser, and they're
still much quicker to peel off and stick than other formats. The roll
also keeps individual labels in place while applying them to your
products.
More material options. Roll printing offers more
materials to print on than other formats. From standard sticker paper to
elegantly textured adhesives, refrigerator-safe clear labels, to
weatherproof vinyl, we offer a wide variety of indoor and outdoor label
adhesives to suit any application.

How to Customize Your Stickers and Labels
When you print labels in roll format, you can choose from four (4) types of materials:
Premium white sticker paper is popular for indoor use. It is widely used for items that are not exposed to water and extreme temperatures. Add gloss or matte laminate to protect your labels from scuffs and scratches.
BOPP label material is a plastic-like material best used on food containers, bottled beverages, and jarred products. This is also refrigerator-safe and ideal for products exposed to water, oil, and refrigeration. BOPP comes in transparent, metallic, and white varieties. It is also available in matte and gloss coating.
White vinyl is our thickest label material. This has a high-gloss and UV-resistant coating that protects your labels in any weather. You can make vinyl even more durable with gloss and matte laminate.
Textured Estate adhesives come in white vellum texture, white laid texture, and cream laid texture. The natural and uncoated texture of the material makes it ideal for luxury products like wine and jewelry. Add matte coating for extra protection.
You can print roll stickers and labels in a variety of shapes. Our standard shapes include rectangle, square, circle, and oval. We can also print arch, hexagon, heart, starburst, and even custom shapes if you want something unique.
With custom shapes, we can trim your stickers according to your design's exact size and shape.
