How to Customize Your Stickers
Printing stickers online means you’re not limited to one sticker format.
At PrintRunner, we offer four (4) ways to print custom stickers: cut-to-size, roll, sheet, and kiss-cut. What’s the difference?
Cut-to-size stickers mean that each piece is individually cut, separated, and trimmed according to its size and shape. Cut-to-size stickers are suitable when:
- You only need to print a small quantity
- You need to apply stickers by hand
Roll stickers are printed on adhesive paper using a dedicated printer that wraps it around a cardboard spool that fits most label dispensers. Roll stickers are best for when:
- You need to apply stickers quickly, or you have a label dispenser
- You want to print stickers in bulk
Sheet stickers are printed on a single piece of white sticker paper. The sheets come in various sizes. Choose sheet stickers if:
- You need to print multiple designs on a single sheet
- You need something easy to stack and store
Kiss-cut stickers are printed individually like cut-to-size stickers, except they come with a border and backing sheet surrounding your design. Choose kiss-cut stickers if:
- You need extra protection for intricate designs

How to Design Stickers Online
Our online design tool is quick and easy to use! Just follow these steps:
Step 1. Select your preferred sticker printing specifications on the order calculator, such as format, size, shape, quantity, and material.
Step 2. Click Design your File Online, and you’ll be redirected to the design tool.
Step 3. Use the upper toolbar to upload and search for images, add text and color, and create shapes.
Step 4. When you’re done, you can save your design to access later or click Proceed to Checkout to confirm your order and payment.
Easy-to-Personalize Stickers FAQs
Can I print stickers in any shape?
Yes. We can trim your stickers and labels to your design’s exact size and shape. This process is called die-cutting, and we can do this for cut-to-size, kiss-cut, roll, and sheet formats. Let us know you want custom die-cut shapes by selecting Custom in the order calculator.
How does free design proofing work?
You can upload your design on the website and select the PDF proof option before checkout to request a free proof. After confirming your order, our prepress team will email you a PDF document for your review. You can check for any design errors and make necessary changes before it goes to print. This process is free of charge and will be ready within 6 hours after you place your order.
What is the minimum quantity to order stickers?
It depends on the sticker format you would like to order. The lowest order quantity is 25 pieces for cut-to-size sticker printing. You can check the available options in the order calculator.
How soon can I receive my order?
You can select your preferred printing turnaround time plus shipping transit time on the order calculator. Then, input your ZIP code to get the rates and the estimated shipping arrival dates.
Do I get a lower price if I order in bulk?
Yes. In printing, the more quantities you print, the lower the cost per piece. Bulk printing is cheaper because it saves on ink, material, and shipping costs. If you order enough stickers, you may also qualify for our free shipping discount.
