Time to Raise Your Game

Raised spot UV business card printing adds a smooth, embossed texture to your ordinary business cards. You can highlight logos and other information you want your customers to pay attention to. You can also use it to put a spotlight on product images and give customers a glance at how the actual product would feel in their hands.

What Lamination Do You Use?

Raised spot UV business card printing has velvet lamination. This leaves any area not covered with spot UV matte and smooth to the touch. Velvet lamination complements the glossiness of the raised spot UV really well.

What Size Are Raised Spot UV Business Cards?

Raised spot UV business cards are available in 2” x 3.5” which is the standard business card size.

“Needed a quick turn around, but that didn’t happen. First, I ordered raised spot business cards, but they emailed me a couple of days later and said they needed a vector file (AI) instead of a raster file (PSD). It was NOT obvious during checkout that a vector file was required. They were nice enough to offer to create a vector file for me - for $25. Thanks a lot. When I called them to ask about it I got a call center based in the Philippines and a lady I could barely understand who kept repeating the details of my order instead of discussing the issue at hand - very frustrating. I love the Philippine people and have a few on the family tree, but this is a business where customer service will make or break you. Well, that broke me, so I decided for the first time in about 7 or 8 years of using Print Runner to cancel the order and go down the street to Staples. A day or 2 later, before I could get to Staples, I get a call from another person at the Philippine call center wondering if I was going to cancel my order or complete it. The original lady couldn’t even understand that I wanted to cancel my order so she put it on hold! Having been with Print Runner for several years, I decided to give them one more chance since the guy who called understood me. Reluctantly, I ended up ordering 1000 plain business cards that cost around $28 since I have no access to AI. The shipping for the $28 cards was going to be about $42! WHAT?! If I ordered 1500 cards it would have cost me $6 more and I would get free shipping. COME ON PRINT RUNNER!!! I immediately called back to change the order yet again to save on the astronomical shipping charge. I didn’t need 1500 cards! Well, the guy called back and said he would give me the 1000 cards and free shipping for my trouble. Too little, too late. I got the cards and the quality is 7 out of 10 which is usual and probably due to my screen setting vs theirs. I still wish I had the raised cards because they would have had the cool factor when handing them out. And now Print Runner sent me this link to leave a review for my Raised Spot UV business cards that I never got. Brilliant. At least they waited until I calmed down. Well, needless to say, this will be my last order at Print Runner. Their next move will be to respond to this negative review to make it seem like they care. Words are cheap and actions speak MUCH louder than words. My advice... Save your sanity and your blood pressure, and go somewhere else where a simple transaction is still a simple transaction. “I had 2 separate orders, business cards and postcards. Had quality problems with both orders.”
